It has been decided by the committee that after reviewing the membership fees and renewal dates that annual fees of $25.00 per annum will be payable by 31 January each year.
Given that some members have only recently paid their annual subscription consideration will be given to those who have made their payment within the last 3 months which will remain valid now until 31 January 2007.
Those members wishing to renew their fees will be able to do so at the first ‘Open Mic’ on Sunday 04 February 2006. Cash or Cheque made payable to Warriors Victoria.
All financial members will now be issued with a laminated membership card that must be produced for participation at Open Mic days and other organized special events conducted by Warriors Victoria.
HOST BAND REGISTRATION.
The committee has formatted the 2006 Events Calendar that includes the introduction of ‘Host Bands’ at each ‘open mic’ day. All Warriors Victoria members and their bands are invited to submit their interest as a host band for a particular open mic day.
We see that by inviting Warriors bands to the open mic day will allow the membership to see what others Warriors have been able to achieve a result of the Weekend Warriors programme. The host bands will also be able to gain more exposure and stage confidence as well as using the time as rehearsal for up and coming gigs.
The host band will be allotted ½ an hour or 7 songs to perform somewhere between 4.00pm & 5.00pm during each open mic day. We would encourage the band to arrive early and enjoy the entire afternoon with all other participants at open mic days.

As can be seen there are still many vacancies available for host bands to nominate for particular days. Even though on some dates there are special presenters attending the host bands and open jamming sessions will still be included on those dates.
