HI we just played our first gig on Sat 22nd at Daisy's in Ringwood. Thanks to all the staff at Billy Hydes for the Warriors progam, what a brilliant concept.Bob Spencer was our music coach for the 5 weeks , and his [brutal] honesty   in regards to our playing was heeded [he said we sounded like a school band at one rehearsal !!!!! . Did that give us a kick up the rear !!! ]I am personally hooked for life now on playing live music, thanks to this program. Our band [Bob You B@#$%@D] certainly did sound nothing like a school band on the night. Constructive criticism can pay off !!!!!!   Regards Stan McHugh

Looks Great.

Hopefully it can only further foster the little buds of talent that are out there starting to sprout. We can all think back to our first attempts and shudder a bit but realise that we are in it for the journey.

Enjoy yourselves

Great site guy's, will be awesome when more bands start sending pics & profiles. A suggestion of maybe starting a forum page so people can talk music, or if they're searching for rare instruments, amps or gear of any sort.

Great initiative, I also agree with Peter Butts that a register of member details is a good idea as a contact point for fill ins or if anyone is looking for a support act & even for forming up more new bands

Alan, I have a suggestion to put forward for consideration regarding "Warriors" in that are we able to access a site that will provide our member contact details and instruments played etc?   the reason being is that at times a fill-in player might be required for any one of the bands that have booked a gig and   for one reason or another have been left short due to unforeseen circumstances that necessitates a replacement player to fulfill the booking.   I am sure that there are many warriors that would be able to step in a short notice on occasions to help out fellow members without too much fuss to ensure that the commitment by the band has been met.   Your thoughts....

Thanks for the website guys. Warriors has given me a viable outlet not otherwise available for my musical passions. I have met a whole new circle of friends and associates and my kids even think I'm a hero.... I actually got my wife to agree with me spending $4k on a new Gibson after 20 years of wanting one. It's all good.

Warriors and Visitors     This is another good step forward for the Guys & Girls who tirelessly promote the Warriors.   I've been apart of WW since the start in Vic and it just keeps gettin' better.

Well done Alan, Geoff and the long list contributers. Keep up the good work.

This site is great.

All Warriors need to contribute to this site to make it happen.
Photos, Stories, Bios, Gossip, Reviews(seen a good band) even slanderous accusations.

Good work
